Platesafe Kit includes 3 levels of protection:
Patented Security Caps. Made in Germany, precisely machined from stainless steel with a brushed finish. As these caps encapsulate the screw head (up to 1/2" heads), you can utilize your original license plate screws and skip the hassle of finding the correct replacement sizes. We also designed 2 more integral features into these caps that we won't detail here.
Clear, impact resistant poly carbonate shield. This high grade poly carbonate shield not only keeps the registration tags safe, but is also treated with a premium UV protection so it won't yellow and cloud like inferior license plate lenses. Please refer to your local DMV on the use of clean lenses prior to installation.
Brushed Stainless steel slimline frame. Our classic slimline frame is made from high grade, heavy gauge stainless steel that is guaranteed not to rust or corrode. The bottom edge locking tabs secures the plate to the frame, ensuring that the whole assembly is held together snugly.
